What a director is ?

A director who is always in the location. He plays an important role in almost all aspects of making movies. Starting from the costumes to approve the model used, the audition of the nation (promises), to determine the angle of the picture (camera angle) and atmosphere to create scenes, to determine the style of player appearances, and all kinds of creativity, creativity must be shown by a movie. But this does not mean that a director do themself. He must be able to lead a department of production to do so together, such as cameraman, lighting, dresser, decorator, etc.

A professional director must be able to make creative ideas with the leaders of all production. They must collaborate. Why? Because each leader would have the production expertise of each. So that the creative input of ideas from each of experts that will help to create a good movie. Usually a director is always accompanied script writers in the film when the project begins. Furthermore, with the editor's music and the end of the process. That is why a director must work from beginning to end.

In some cases a director sometimes also as a producer or script writer. But a director generally averse to become cameraman. Because the director should be more focus on setting the scene. The problem of the image will be better trust to the DOP (Director of Photography), which is responsible on the camera and lighting. Because basically cameraman's important actor is considering appearances. They focus more on how to create images that good and decent purchasing audience.

Unlike with independent film director, the director will usually act several movie projects in the department. He can only as producer, script writer, cameraman, and the fund. Even sometimes he can be as editor.
